REMEMBER
Before each examination, you must take a urine sample.
Please arrive 5 minutes before your time to make it.
There is a urine sample kit in the toilet that you need to urinate in (follow the instructions posted). The sample is delivered to the hatch.

Positive Pregnancy Test
Congratulations! Your pregnancy test is positive!
You must book an appointment for the first examination when you are approximately in weeks 6-10 .
The following dietary supplements are recommended:
Folic acid: 400 micrograms daily from the time you think about getting pregnant and 12 weeks into the pregnancy.
Vitamin D: 10 micrograms daily throughout pregnancy.
Iron: 40-50 mg of ferrous iron daily from the 10th week of pregnancy and throughout the rest of the pregnancy.
Calcium; You should consume ½ liter of dairy product per day or take a daily calcium supplement of 500 mg throughout your pregnancy.
UNWANTED PREGNANCY
If the positive pregnancy test is not good news and you do not want the pregnancy, you should contact the clinic as soon as possible and make an appointment the same day. You will be informed about your options and referred for treatment to a gynecologist or hospital.

Midwife consultation:
You will be called for a midwife consultation via the hospital where you will give birth around weeks 17-19 of pregnancy.
REMEMBER
You must book an appointment for a nuchal translucency scan and blood test online at the hospital.

Whooping Cough Vaccine
All pregnant women in the 2nd-3rd trimester are offered a free whooping cough vaccine.
Whooping cough vaccination during pregnancy is safe for both mother and child, and provides good protection for the child against whooping cough in the months after birth.
